Reference Standard CB/T3944 Flanged Stainless Steel Check Valve

This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of check valves used in piping systems of liquefied gas carriers, bulk chemical carriers, and ships with a nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa and a design temperature not lower than -165 ℃. Other ships' piping systems using check valves with corrosive media may refer to this standard.

 

Type

The types of check valves are specified as follows:

Type A—Straight-through check valve with flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces according to GB/T 569-1965;

Type B—Straight-through check valve with flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces according to GB/T 569-1965;

Type AS—Straight-through check valve with flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces according to GB/T 2501-1989;

Type BS—Straight-through check valve with flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces according to GB/T 2501-1989;
